On8mil.space Competition Terms and Conditions
You consent for On8mil to use any and all components of the entry for marketing and promotional purposes on our websites and social media channels, including screenshots, clips or the whole clip.
The Competition starts on 01/01/2022 and closes at 01/11/2022. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered. We accept no responsibility for entries not received. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Incomplete and late entries will not be accepted.
On8mil reserves the right to extend the closing date for a reasonable period of time where an insufficient number of the entries received have satisfied the entry and judging criteria.
On8Mil and the judges do not need to explain or defend the choices of winners, or explain disqualification. They retain full control over the competition.
You are responsible for the submission fee and other costs for the creation and postage service
Winners will be notified by email. If you are one of the selected winners your name and Instagram accounts may be featured in our social media and websites. The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available. On8mil will endeavour to send prizes within a month of notification of the competition end date but cannot guarantee delivery time.
On8mil can not take responsibility for any damage which you might incur through the scanning process of your film. Please follow our tips to avoid any major loss of quality or problems. We are not liable at all for any loss or damage to films’ delivery materials. You will be sending your work back at your own risk. Always ask for a tracking number or any reference when sending out your work. That is your own responsibility.
On8mil reserves the right to not scan your film if it appears to breach the competition rules as laid out on our rules page. We will notify you if this is the case and explain our decision. You have the right to appeal if you can prove that you have not breached competition rules.
On8mil reserves the right to disqualify your entry if you do not meet the entry criteria, you are not eligible to enter the Competition, you cannot be contacted or you do not respond within seven days of being contacted by us in relation to your entry. In the event of disqualification, we may select a new long listed entry, runner up or winner in accordance with the selection processes below.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent in writing to your entry into the competition and consent to all rules, terms and conditions as stipulated on this website. A consent form will be sent with your entry pack. If you are under 18 and we do not receive the consent form, your entry will be disqualified and we ill not be able to refund the entry fee.
On8Mil does not condone any dangerous activity for the competition and takes no responsibility for any accidents, injuries or breaches of the law.
You will make sure that any necessary consent, licence or approval required for the ORWO Stories Competition to make use of the content, has been obtained and that any fees or payments relating therein have been paid.
Your entry film may not contain any copyright protected images, sound or music. On8mil does not take responsibility for your violation of copyright law, and if it comes to our attention that this has happened, your entry will be disqualified.
You own the copyright to your competition entry as it’s author and can use the footage in other projects and enter it into other competitions.
You warrant and agree that: you are the owner of all the rights in the content. No content submitted by you will be defamatory, abusive or offensive; infringe the copyright, moral right, performing rights, rights of privacy, trade mark or other proprietary right of any third party; constitute a misuse of any confidential information of a third party. Advertise, promote or endorse any products or services. Adversely affect the reputation of On8mil; be false or misleading; omit information that should be disclosed by you; contain software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to affect the functionality of any computer software, hardware or telecommunications equipment.
